Boboli Garden Walkthrough
More than a garden, more than just a “green lung”, the Boboli Gardens are one of the greatest open-air museums in Florence. The park embraces another site of culture in Florence, and hosts centuries-old oak trees, sculptures and fountains which you will see as we take a stroll through this historic garden that has been a peaceful shelter for both tourists and Florentines for centuries.

Christmas, Hanukkah Panettone & a bike ride
Bill and Birgit are back for a special holiday bike ride through the festively lit city of Florence! The tour will start in another special little in the Oltrarno neighborhood called San Niccolo’ where we will start hearing about the origins of Santa Claus and some other interesting Christmas traditions. We will then cross the Arno river and head to the Santa Croce quarter where we will pass by the church of that same name on our way to see Florence's monumental Synagogue. It’s then back to see the Church of Santa Maria Novella to learn some more history related to a certain December feast day and then through the center of town to see Florence's beautiful Christmas season and holiday lights. Talking about foods and feasts along the way, we can’t forget about dessert! We will finish at Chef Vary’s wonderful kitchen where she will prepare a classic Italian holiday cake that you will be able to make at home.
Join us with a mug of spicy wine, and lets get into the festive mood together!
