Q: How is Virtually Live Tours different from all the other virtual tours that are out there?
A: Good question! Virtually Live Tours are currently the only tours that are carried out outdoors and where you have the ability to actively participate in what is taking place. It is not a static setting where you are watching other people show you pictures on a screen. We keep things moving and we focus on the Tuscan countryside, landscape and/or monuments. Do you want to see a particular flower that we walked by? Just ask your host.
Q: Can I participate in the tour using my phone?
A: Yes you can but we suggest that you use the biggest screen possible to get the closest effect to actually being there with us.
Q: Can I ask questions to the guide during the tour?
A: Yes! You are encouraged to participate as much as possible. Depending upon the size of the group, we will use the "raised hand" feature to then unmute your mic and then ask your question.
For family tours mics can be lert open so that you may chat amongst yourselves and have your family experience together!
Q. Since it is a live outdoor tour, what happens if it is raining?
A: If it is raining to the extent that the tour cannot be carried out, then the tour will be rescheduled. If the resheduled tour does not work for you, then a refund will be given.
Q: I'm not familiar with the Zoom platform. What if i can't get it to work properly?
A: The tour "room" will open up 15 minutes before the start of the tour where you may speak with the hosts about how to use the platform for the best experience. However, you should have a basic working knowlege of how to log in with your audio and video connections.
